Darryl has been wowing corporate, theatrical and event audiences for over 20 years with his powerful voice and charisma. He is a master of Opera, Musical Theatre and Rock.

As an MC, Darryl takes the stage singing The Toreador’s song from the opera Carmen. A dynamic and thoroughly unique way to begin an event, this instantly captures audience attention and sets the tone for an exciting evening! At an appropriate moment in the evening, Darryl can perform a solo show encompassing musical theatre show-stoppers and operatic arias. Drawing on a vast operatic and musical theatre repertoire, this passionate and award-winning performer delivers a truly stand-out event.

Most noted for his Award-winning portrayal of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in Australia & NZ, he also received critical acclaim as John Lennon in the New Zealand tour of Looking Through a Glass Onion. Darryl featured in Les Miserables and Chess and performed opposite Sarah Brightman in the Australasiantour ofThe Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. A master ofopera, musical theatre and rock, Darryl has performed with James Morrison, original members of NZ’s legendary Split Enz, the NZ Symphony Orchestra and performed the music of Lennon and McCartney on two tours of Let It Be with Glenn Shorrock and Doug Parkinson. Darryl has made numerous appearances on Australian and NZ television over the past 20 years.

In business circles he is well known for co-creating international corporate entertainment sensation – “The Three Waiters” (an operatic phenomenon that he also performed with for 11 years) and the Broadway-inspired Act “The Leading Men”.
