The Melbourne Glama 9 is an all girl, ultra modern, professional & highly trained performance group who together create a classy, super sexy modern dance show. Their style is diverse - from sexy video clip style jazz & high impact street hip hop to Belly Dance / Bollywood style and themed shows like Coyote Ugly & Can Can, plus much more. All shows are fully choreographed, fast moving, sexy but classy with colourful costumes all performed to current chart music. Shows can be specially choreographed to fit in with a client’s function theme & music requests.
The girls are always in high demand nationally & internationally & have performed as the support act for USA’s Pussycat Dolls while in Australia in 2008, toured Australia & New Zealand with Autosalon as Centre Stage entertainment, back up for USA's Inaya Day (Nasty Girl, Glamorous Life) America's "Montel Jordan", New Zealand rappers "Savage" & Australia's own "Weapon X". The girls have toured for 3 years with Crusty Demons, including Australia & UK. With their charismatic personalities & stylish looks, the girls deliver a high quality show that is guaranteed to get the crowd going, & coming back for more.
In 2008 Abby Meates, choreographer & Glamazons leader starred as Sharon a professional dancer & WAG of sports hero Mark Wary in Channel 10’s Logie nominated comedy show “Mark loves Sharon”. The show featured Glamazons as Sharon’s dancers.
